Hello blog readers!
During the weekend of Sep 11-13th, I had a fantastic opportunity to spend a weekend at a beautiful campsite called 'Grizzly Creek Ranch' to discuss the importance of having disability history taught in schools all over California.
During those couple of days, I, amongst many other youth with disabilities, had the opportunity to catch a glimpse of important historical events that happened within the disability community. We were engaged in things such as, activities that were community based, listening to other inspirational speakers talk about their experiences as a leader in the disability community, and we also discussed plans and ideas for this exciting campaign!
